1st Shift Inbound Material Handler

The Inbound Material Handler is responsible for unloading, checking in, and stocking new inventory into the warehouse. These tasks must be completed efficiently and accurately to ensure smooth inbound operations. The role requires the use of internal warehouse systems and various equipment, including Powered Industrial Trucks.

• Unload live domestic deliveries from trailers using forklift equipment, or unload import containers by hand
• Use our ERP system to receive inventory accurately and efficiently, ready for storage
• Move palletized product using pallet jacks or forklift to organize the receiving dock or transport to other areas
• Scan and place inventory in racking locations using forklift and handheld scanner
• Operate warehouse equipment following all safety protocols
• Meet performance standards for efficiency, accuracy, and quality
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, reporting hazards as needed
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet departmental goals
• Follow all company and warehouse policies
• Flex into other positions and undertake additional duties to support operations

• Stand and/or walk for up to 12 hours/day
• Communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing
• Use hands for grasping and manipulations
• Perform bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs regularly

The work environment may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, vehicles, temperature changes, dust, fumes, and gases. Noise levels are usually quiet to moderate. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.

• 1+ years in a distribution environment preferred but not required
