Well maybe it's time you moved up. You want to be the boss? Well now's your chance – Domino's Pizza is hiring bosses – more specifically assistant managers. It's a tough job, one that needs a natural like you. Of course, you'll need some skills – judgement, math and the ability to multitask.
- You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift. This includes all cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations.
- You must set the example and follow ALL policy and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from your crew.
- In addition, you handle staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, work to a schedule, maintain a perfect image and adherence to standards.
- Provide great customer service and maintain store cleanliness, marketing, profitability and a positive team environment.
- Operate all equipment, stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, walk‑in cooler, prepare product, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, complete associated paperwork and clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, written and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Communication skills: comprehend and give correct written instructions; communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person.
- Strong judgment, math, multitasking and leadership skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards; access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
- In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas.
- Exposure to fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, cracked surfaces, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F, moving mechanical parts.
- Standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing and pulling tasks – e.g., lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying items from 3×1.5 ft cases to shelves, pushing trays on dollies, climbing stairs or ladders.
- Forward bending, crouching/squatting, reaching overhead, eye‑hand coordination, and frequent use of hands are required.
- Travel to and from work can be required; transportation to/from work is an expectation.
- In delivery duties: deliver product by car, deliver flyers and door hangers; navigate adverse terrain, multi‑story buildings and private homes.
- Driving duties include delivering pizzas within a designated area, making several deliveries per shift, and traveling between store and vehicle.
