The role is responsible for collaborating with the ED Medical Director, hospital, and nursing leadership while offering support to your physician staff. You will serve as a leader within the emergency department and the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operations of the ED in collaboration with the ED Medical Director, nursing leadership, and hospital administration
• Participate in Quality Assurance for the department
• Represent the ED in the community and within the hospital medical staff

Emergency Department Highlights:

• Brand new ED facility opened in June 2023
• 43 ED beds, including 5 dedicated fast-track beds
• 24/7/365 XR, CT, US
• All new state-of-the-art equipment for the ED
• Pediatrics: 13% of volume, with UH RBC Pediatric EM telehealth consultations available

• 144 adult beds (no pediatric admissions)
• 24/7 in-house ICU physician

• 24/7 in-house hospitalist program for most admissions
