Garage Porter; Part-Time

GCI Residential, is a prominent and diversified real estate development and management firm that is committed to offering exceptional places to live and work. We are looking for someone with an eye for detail and that can work independently. This position ensures the quality appearance and upkeep of the property in order to maintain its overall appeal to future and current residents.

• Provides high quality customer service according to GCI's customer service principles in order to maximize resident retention
• Responds to resident requests and works with residents to minimize and resolve resident problems and complaints
• Ensures that the garage presents well at all time (cleanliness, sweeping, power washing, professional environment, etc.)
• Ensures that the garage is safe and secure, doors are locked, lights are on, adhere to applicable building codes and report safety hazards
• Assisting residents with packages, luggage, etc, and from the garage and their suite
• Performs other duties as directed or assigned

• Regular attendance is mandatory
• Valid driver's license and transportation
• Lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs.
• Inside and outside work in all types of weather
• Prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting, pushing and pulling
• Ability to lift and utilize a ladder

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Some maintenance skills; prior experience
