Are you passionate about finance, detail-oriented, and eager to drive high-stakes transactions? We’re seeking a sharp and dedicated Senior Associate to bolster our Private Equity diligence team. In this pivotal role, you will support critical financial analyses for mid‑market companies, ensuring accurate, timely insights that influence major investment decisions. Your expertise will help shape successful buy‑side and sell‑side transactions, making a tangible impact on our clients’ strategic outcomes.
WhatYou Will Do
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including revenue, margins, expenses, and working capital trends.
- Produce well‑organized databooks, schedules, and work papers that streamline review and decision‑making.
- Manage virtual data rooms with precision—labeling, version control, and completeness.
- Identify data inconsistencies or gaps, escalating issues efficiently, and supporting the creation of insightful reports with charts and exhibits.
- Follow structured workflows for diligence, ingesting and validating diverse financial data, and supporting draft and final reports.
- Collaborate closely with senior team members, maintaining confidentiality and discipline in all client interactions.
- 1–3 years of experience in transaction services, audit, FP&A, corporate finance, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling fundamentals).
- Sound understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and GL/subledger structures.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills—verbal and written.
- Ability to work swiftly under tight deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.
- Exposure to private equity transactions.
- Experience working with VDRs and managing diligence workflows.
- Additional financial modeling or data analysis tools familiarity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated curiosity and analytical mindset.
- Ability to handle imperfect data with practical solutions.
- Collaborative team player with low ego and high discipline.
- Comfortable with confidentiality and sensitive information.
