Director of Digital Marketing

Apex Skin is a rapidly growing dermatology practice that empowers employees to make a difference in the health of their communities and transform lives through healthy skin. Join our dynamic team as a Director of Digital Marketing, where you will lead and innovate our digital marketing strategies to drive growth and enhance brand presence.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Lead and manage junior digital marketers, providing mentorship and performance feedback.
  • Oversee social media strategy and execution.
  • Expand and refine impact of email marketing strategy to support all business areas and patient segments.
  • Increase impact of e-commerce to drive incremental revenue YOY.
  • Direct key third-party partners to execute digital marketing work including paid media, web development, content, creative, and e-commerce.
  • Ownership and oversight of company websites including legacy site, e-commerce site, and Clinical Research website.
  • Oversee and optimize digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email, and content marketing.
  • Analyze, report, and present on the performance of digital marketing campaigns using analytics tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate digital marketing efforts with overall marketing strategies, and support multiple departmental goals.
  • Stay updated with digital marketing trends and technologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Manage and allocate digital marketing budgets effectively to maximize ROI.
  • Identify and establish partnerships with digital platforms and third-party vendors.
  • Ensure brand consistency and enhance online presence across all digital touchpoints.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies to optimize conversion rates and user engagement, including A/B testing, digital tactic comparison, and more.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new opportunities and threats.
  • Prepare and present performance reports to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Apply customer data and segmentation to strategy to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Measure and improve patient experience digitally and work collaboratively for a smooth experience at all touchpoints, digitally and otherwise.
  • Provide guidance for future state of digital marketing including new AI and technology advances that will drive marketing efficiency.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital marketing.
  • Preferred, 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, PPC, AI, AEO, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Interest in continued learning as digital marketing evolves; established habits to keep up with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, DOMO, and similar.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions and strategic recommendations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Successful history of cross functional partnerships to achieve collaborative business goals.
  • Outstanding leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with A/B testing and other optimization strategies.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and customer segmentation strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in budget management and financial planning for marketing initiatives.
  • Creative and critical thinking to solve problems and suggest new solutions.
  • Ability to execute digital efforts timely and effectively, while keeping high level strategy top of mind.
