Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? We are recruiting an enthusiastic ASD Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school, where you'll play a vital role in helping pupils reach their full potential both academically and personally.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference by providing tailored support to pupils with additional needs in a positive and nurturing learning environment.

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
• Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum by adapting learning activities to meet their individual needs.
• Encourage the development of communication, social, emotional, and independence skills.
• Support pupils in managing behaviour and emotions using positive behaviour strategies.
• Work closely with teachers and the SEND team to implement individual learning and support plans.
• Build positive relationships with pupils to promote confidence, engagement, and wellbeing.
• Assist with classroom activities, routines, transitions, and sensory needs where appropriate.
• Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
• Promote an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
• Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
