We are seeking a commercially minded financial professional to join our leadership team as Head of Finance.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead the finance function whilst acting as a trusted business partner across the business. You will play a key role in supporting business strategy and driving commercial performance across the portfolio.

This is a broad and varied role extending beyond traditional finance.

You’llwork closely with colleagues across acquisition,development, leasing and asset management.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead and develop a high-performing finance function, ensure robust controls,accuratereportingand meaningful management information.
• Prepare management accounts, budgets, forecasts and long term business plans.
• Analyse portfolio performance,identifying opportunities to enhance returns, reduce risk and unlock value.
• Provide financial oversight and challenge across leasing, investment,development and refurbishment projects.
• Supportacquisitions frominitialappraisal through to completion.
• Oversee financial planning, banking relationships and covenant management.
• Review development appraisals, project viability, build costs and programme assumptions, ensuring investment decisions are commercially sound.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, reporting and business processes.
• Build strong relationships across the business, supporting teams to improve performance,accountability and commercial awareness.

You are likely to be an experienced finance professional operating as a Head of Finance, Financial Controller, Finance Manager or similar within a property focused environment.

You’ll bring:

• Ideally experience within a property investment, development, asset management or wider real estate business. Alternatively, experience within a multi-site organisation (such as retail, hospitality, healthcare or leisure) with responsibility for managing income-generating assets, billing and revenue streams, occupier or customer charge structures, and property operating costs.
• Strong understanding of the financial management of real estate assets, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, capital expenditure and operational cost control.
• Qualified accountant with the ability to translate financial information into practical business decisions.
• Experience supporting property transactions, acquisitions, leasingactivityor asset management initiatives.
• Strong understanding of property finance, taxation,VATand investment appraisal.
• Strong analytical skills and the confidence to provide challenge whereappropriate.
• The ability to effectively communicate and engage with multiple stakeholders.
