The role:
As Nursery Housekeeper, you will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery. Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and maintaining playrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
- Sweeping,mopping, dusting, sanitising surfaces, and emptying bins
- Cleaning and disinfecting children's bathrooms, nappy changing areas, andhigh-touch surfaces
- Supporting laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organising nursery linen
- Assisting with washing up and maintaining cleanliness within kitchen areas
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely and appropriately
- Monitoring cleaning stock levels and reporting replenishment requirements
- Following Health& Safety, COSHH, infection control, and safeguarding procedures at all times
- Supporting periodic deep cleaning tasks as required
- Working closely with the nursery team to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all

- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience
- Knowledge ofsafe cleaning practices and COSHH procedures
