North American Bulk Transport is a leader in the transportation industry, committed to keeping our fleet running safely and efficiently. We are looking for a skilled Diesel Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our team and help maintain, diagnose, and repair our diesel-powered trucks and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel trucks, including oil changes, tire repairs, and brake diagnostics and repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and complete necessary repairs.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair engine, transmission, and exhaust system problems.
• Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Replace or repair faulty components such as fuel systems, brakes, suspension, and cooling systems.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
• Work collaboratively with drivers and fleet managers to ensure trucks are road-ready.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Diagnose and repair bulk unloading equipment.
• Follow safety rules and policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of diesel engine systems, transmissions, and hydraulics.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and software.
  
  Ability to lift heavy parts and tools and work in various conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
