Personal Assistant LP

Caring, reliable and calm person required to support an 8 year old non verbal autistic boy living in Milngavie. He is very energetic and loves walks around the village, visits to Tesco and jumping on his trampoline. Can also be content for periods of quiet time on his iPad.

• Provide support to access leisure and outdoor activities.
• Support the development of friendship in the local community.

• 4 hours per week.
• Preferably worked at weekends eg 2 hours each on Saturday and Sunday (flexibility may be discussed at interview).
• Plus an additional 3 hours per week for 13 weeks of school holiday.

£13.50 per hour

Applicant must be a physically fit responsible adult with the patience and aptitude to develop a relationship with a child who communicates and socialises differently.

PVG Scheme membership or PVG Scheme Update required by the successful applicant.
