Key Responsibilities- Guides, directs, and coaches employees to deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects.
- Understands the needs of BMO customers or prospects to provide sales and service in the best interests of the customer.
- Advise customers on products and strategies that meet their financial objectives.
- Identifies and makes referrals to other business groups.
- Supports sales and customer service activities to meet strategic customer experience and profitability goals.
- Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and BMO policies and processes.

Acts as an originator of consumer loans as defined by Regulation Z, Regulation G, and the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act. - Provides regulatory compliance, background and credit history reviews as required.

- Builds interdependent teams across functional and operating groups.

- Performs cold calls to prospective customers to develop new relationships.
- Builds community networks to enhance bank visibility and referral sources.
- Supports community involvement and participates in community activities.
- Maintains high-touch relationships with key branch customers and prospects.
- Resolves customer related issues using knowledge of bank services.
- Fulfills sales and service activities according to approved procedures.
- Builds the business plan for the branch and negotiates to achieve objectives.
- Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision‑making.
- Reviews and revises work plans; determines business priorities.
- Conducts independent analysis to resolve strategic issues.
- Ensures alignment between stakeholders.
- Establishes relationships with business partners such as CDC, Master Card, Symcor.
- Monitors sales and service performance, develops and implements action plans.
- Breaks down strategic problems, analyzes data and provides insights.
- Communicates goals and plans to achieve financial and service goals.
- Leads implementation of new programs, products, and processes.
- Coordinates national and regional sales and service initiatives.
- Monitors service request and problem resolution processes.
- Provides technical training and support to branch employees.
- Plans and controls unit operating expenses.
- Manages customer call outcomes and escalates unresolved situations.
- Maintains confidentiality of customer and bank information.
- Identifies and reports suspicious money laundering activity.
- Complies with legal and regulatory requirements across jurisdiction.
- Works independently on complex tasks.
- Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience and a post‑secondary degree or equivalent.
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
- In‑depth knowledge of retail banking products and services.
- Advanced knowledge of competitive marketplace and product trends.
- Working knowledge of branch operational processes and policies.
- Working knowledge of branch technologies, processes, and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations, audit standards, and related policies.
- Technical proficiency through education or business experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (in‑depth).

$46,000 – $85,200 (Salaried)
