Psychiatrists are encouraged to consider an available full-time position with Liberty Healthcare at the Coastal Empire Community Mental Health Center.
The Coastal Empire Community Mental Health Center has several clinic locations throughout the Low country region - including Hilton Head and Beaufort, South Carolina.
These clinics provide high quality outpatient assessment and treatment services to adults who are experiencing acute and chronic mental illness.
The Coastal Empire Community Mental Health Center operates under the South Carolina Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. Selected Psychiatrists work through a long-term collaborative partnership with Liberty Healthcare Corporation.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others and positively impact the health and wellbeing of a significant number of people who are experiencing acute and chronic mental illness.
You will practice in a mission driven community mental health setting in collaboration with a talented and dedicated multidisciplinary team.
Your everyday work will focus on providing high quality outpatient assessment and treatment to adults.

Other Perks Include- $290,000 per year (fixed compensation / no billing required)
- 43 weekdays off annually
- Regular Monday through Friday schedule with daytime hours
- No nights, no weekends, and no after-hour calls

If you live outside of the area, Liberty Healthcare can assist you with relocation, and if you’re not currently licensed in South Carolina, Liberty can help you with that too.
You are a good fit for this position if you possess the following:- Residency training in Psychiatry (Board Certification is preferred but not required)
- South Carolina medical license (or willingness to apply)
- Compassion towards people who are experiencing mental illness
