Ready to lead from the front and grow into your next chapter? The Budd Group is looking for a confident, self-driven Staffing Coordinator to be the operational backbone of our Beaufort, SC, school account. In this high-impact role, you’ll connect leadership with site teams, support daily operations across 13 district schools and 2 independent schools, and take ownership of recruiting, compliance, and employee support.
This is a fast-paced, autonomous role for someone who thrives on responsibility, momentum, and purpose—and yes, you’ll hear a daily hype song over the intercom at 9:45 AM to keep spirits high.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead Recruiting: Manage full-cycle hiring, including job postings, candidate screening, onboarding, and meeting time-to-hire goals.
Maintain Compliance: Audit background checks, TB tests, badge access, and payroll data in Dayforce to meet school district requirements.
Support Managers: Assist three managers with interview scheduling, new hire readiness, and administrative audits.
Be the Connector: Serve as the key link between on-site teams and remote leadership, using flexible communication methods as needed.
Employee Support: Guide employees on policies such as FMLA, time-off requests, and general HR questions.
Boost Retention: Monitor engagement and retention efforts, with a focus beyond the first 30 days of employment.
Self-Starter: Comfortable working independently while reporting to a remote manager.
Resilient Communicator: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle on-site challenges and varied personalities.
Tech-Savvy: Able to learn HR systems quickly (Dayforce/Ceridian strongly preferred) and resolve basic tech issues.
Highly Organized: Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple school locations and requirements accurately.
Clearance: Must pass a School District background check.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (in-person)
