• Active LPN license, with credentials current and in good standing
• Prior experience working with children, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
• Demonstrated knowledge and direct experience caring for patients with a trach and ventilator
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with educators, families, and healthcare providers
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable, with a calm approach to medical care in a busy school environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized nursing care for the assigned student, including routine and emergency trach/vent support
• Monitor and document the student's health and intervene as needed during school hours
• Administer medications and treatments according to care plans
• Coordinate with teaching staff and school administration to ensure the student's participation in activities
• Serve as an advocate for the child's health and well-being within the classroom setting

This part-time contract role averages 15 hours per week, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while making a critical difference in a child's educational journey.
