Families Choice Home Care is looking for a Caregiver to join our team. The Caregiver is responsible for the physical care and emotional support of our clients who may no longer be able to take care of themselves due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability.
The ideal candidate must be able to care for our clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. This person will encourage and remain empathetic to the clients at all times.
Responsibilities:- Home assistance – Provide light housekeeping, run errands or provide transportation if needed. Accompany clients to appointments. Prepare meals, purchase food and provide personal assistance with general living needs. Personal services could include toileting, bathing, feeding and grooming.
- Companionship – Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging and assisting an individual.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report (needs to be completed by start date).
- State Registration (needs to be completed by start date).
- Current TB Test (needs to be completed by start date).
- Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for a long period of time.
- Competitive wages starting at $16.50 per hour.
- $300 new hire bonus – contingent upon working a minimum of 24 hours per week in your first 90 days.

Caregivers in the State of California are required to have fingerprinting done and will have a full background check completed through the state in order to register as a Home Care Aid. Caregivers in California are required to have a TB test within the past two years. (These are legal compliance statements).
