A respected and thriving veterinary practice in Beaumont, California, is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Director (DVM) to join and lead its high-performing team. This full-service small animal hospital is known for its commitment to exceptional patient care, strong community ties, and a collaborative work culture. The Medical Director will play a key leadership role while maintaining clinical responsibilities, offering the perfect balance of medicine and management.

The Medical Director will:

• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to associate veterinarians and veterinary staff

• Deliver high-quality medical care including wellness, diagnostics, surgery, and preventative services

• Oversee implementation of medical protocols, ensure compliance, and drive quality improvement

• Perform surgeries, dental procedures, and advanced diagnostics as needed

• Partner with hospital administration on strategic goals, staffing, and operational performance

• Foster a team-focused, inclusive culture that encourages growth, learning, and collaboration

• Maintain a flexible, sustainable work schedule that supports work-life balance

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution

• Valid California veterinary license

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach

• Strong surgical skills preferred

• Previous leadership or mentorship experience a plus
