Salary: $25.40 – $34.76 per hour (maximum starting rate for external hire $28.56)

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (12 months)

Under the general supervision of the Director of Maintenance, Operations, and Transportation, the Maintenance Person II performs skilled work in at least two maintenance trades with journey-level experience. Duties include plumbing, pool maintenance, electrical, audio‑visual, painting, cabinetry, masonry, carpentry, grounds equipment repair, welding, HVAC, sprinkler, office machine repair, and occasional new‑construction projects. Irrigation experience is preferred.

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks in two or more trades with journey-level expertise.
• Work independently or as part of a crew, coordinating with fellow workers.
• Supervise Maintenance Person I workers on special projects.
• Complete duties as assigned and maintain work quality and safety standards.

• At least two (2) years of journey‑level experience in two or more maintenance trades.
• Valid trade certifications or licenses (e.g., HVAC, Electrical Journeyman, Pool Operator, Irrigation Technician).
• Proof of high school graduation.
