Summary/Objective

The Materials Clerk is responsible for receiving freight into HMS, maintaining receiving records, greeting sales representatives, sorting incoming mail from the Post Office and in-house printing in the Print Shop. The role involves providing positive customer service to end users within the facility.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Greet and check in all sales representatives, directing them to the appropriate personnel, and answer all phone calls politely and professionally.

Assist with checking in freight, printing worksheets, receiving documents, and labeling products with proper delivery points. Maintain all PO’s, receipts, and signed receivers.

Sort incoming mail from the Post Office, delivered mail, and inter-office mail. Collect outgoing mail from the mail campus and off-site locations as per schedule. Return all outgoing mail to the Print Shop for pickup by the third-party vendor.

Prepare printed materials in a professional manner as ordered by various departments.

Communicate any problems or concerns regarding the Materials Management Department to the Leadership Team.

Perform other related duties as assigned by the Leadership Team of the Materials Management Department.
