Performs quality inspections in accordance with established procedures.

• Performs inspections and tests in accordance with established procedures.
• Inspections and tests include mechanical, dimensional, document review, receipt, visual, radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrate, ultrasonic, leak testing and material verification.
• Operation, setup, calibration and maintenance of associated equipment and instrumentation.
• Must be capable of providing oversight and discipline-specific guidance to Level I personnel.
• Evaluate and report inspection and test results.
• Will be required to adhere to all safety procedures and maintain work areas in a clean and orderly manner, in addition to various assigned responsibilities.
• Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties and activities as required.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Works under minimum supervision.
• Typically reports to a supervisor.

• May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with 3-5 previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Certified with NACE and AMPP is required.

• Ability to reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see and to perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to reach with hands or arms, stand, walk, use hands or fingers, grip, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl and to perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to sit at a desk and operate computer for extended periods of time.
• The ability to lift and carry 15 lbs. on a regular basis is required and at times lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required.
