Field Technician – Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated, physically capable individual to work as an Entry‑Level Construction Materials Testing Technician. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to start a career in the construction industry, no prior experience required. In this hands‑on role, you will conduct field and laboratory testing of essential materials such as soils, concrete, and asphalt, and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications.

A fleet vehicle will be provided for work use.

• Assist with sampling and testing of construction materials (soils, concrete, asphalt) as directed.
• Perform specific field testing of soils materials and observe concrete.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to project specifications.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 50–60 lbs and work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, as projects demand.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical lift test.
