Position Overview :
A new Pulmonology service line is being established in the Beaumont region to expand access to ICU, CCU, trauma-related pulmonary care, and general pulmonology services. This opportunity includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities with plans to launch a dedicated pulmonology clinic to support long-term regional needs.
Practice Highlights:
• Clinic
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Procedures:oIn-office: spirometry and other basic pulmonary procedure so
Advanced (based on physician skillset): thoracentesis, bronchoscopy, and other specialized interventions
• Equipment & Resources:oPotential access to a PFT machineo
Advanced imaging (CT, PET) available onsiteo
Convenient access to lab and X-ray services
• Call Structure:oER and clinic call, covering both inpatient and outpatient needso
Critical care coverage is supported by the hospitalist team; pulmonology call focuses on pulmonary-specific cases
• EMR:
Epic Ideal Candidate:
• Fellowship-trained in Pulmonology
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
• Experience preferred
• Spanish-speaking is a plus but not required
