SAMGI is seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon (Fellowship‑trained in Orthopedic Trauma) to join our team at Christus St.Elizabeth in Beaumont, TX. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma care in the ED, OR, and inpatient setting.
  • Maintain response coverage within 30 minutes, delivering timely and expert care.
  • Collaborate with cross‑specialty teams including trauma surgery, acute care, anesthesia, and rehabilitation.
  • Participate in surgical decision‑making, performance improvement, and quality initiatives.
  • Mentor and supervise mid‑levels and trainees, supporting education and clinical excellence.
  • Contribute to SAMGI’s performance and compliance protocols.
Required Qualifications
  • MD or DO, plus successful completion of an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship
  • Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • TX medical license or eligibility for licensure
  • Proficient in acute orthopedic trauma techniques, including complex fracture management
