Control Systems Engineer

We are a well-established, growing, and reputable organization located in the Beaumont, Texas area, seeking a Control Systems Engineer.

The ideal candidate will possess experience with ABB DCS. This role offers a competitive compensation plan commensurate with experience, with a base salary ranging from $150k to $160k plus an annual bonus. Relocation assistance is also available.

All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

As the Control Systems Engineer you will be responsible for managing, coordinating and developing all aspects of Continuous Emission Monitoring System and Distributive Control Systems to ensure the facility operates safely for human health and the environment.

• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes and maintaining safe practices at all times
• Maintains process-related systems; modifies software and hardware to improve process capabilities
• Maintains communication between DCS/PLC/TCPIP based systems
• Regularly performs data analysis to better understand process capabilities
• Trains operation and maintenance personnel in relevant components of computer systems
• Sets up, installs and maintains PCs and related software
• Coordinates project activities with government and regulatory agencies

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or related field

• 3 years of experience working with PC operating systems, PLC, DCS and/or SCADA programming applications

• Visual Basic
• Database programming
• PC/Server networking
• Instrumentation and industrial control systems design
• ABB Bailey Infi 90
• Allen Bradley PLC
• RCRA and MACT regulations
• TCP/IP networking and NT experience
