Scope& Contacts
The incumbent is responsible for providing sound and profitable lending solutions to commercial customers and for maintaining a "full service" banking atmosphere. The incumbent has contacts on a daily basis with customers, bank management, loan administration personnel, and other personnel within the Bank to ensure the customer's needs are met.
Essential Functions- Predominantly make loans to credit-worthy borrowers.
- This includes not only responding to requests from existing customers but also being proactive in the direct solicitation of new business from non-bank customers.
- Insure the collection on past due accounts and constantly monitor the assigned loan portfolio for any signs of credit deterioration.
- Monitor and adjust pricing on loans to ensure adequate yields are being maintained.
- Provide complete and accurate loan documentation and required collateral documentation to the Loan Administration Department on all loans made.
- Must actively participate in Customer Service First sales and service culture, support the values of the organization and follow established company policies and procedures.
- Community involvement is expected.
- Knowledge of commercial lending laws, regulations, procedures, and experience in credit and/or collections preferred.
- Incumbent should have a four-year business degree with emphasis on accounting and/or finance and one year credit analyst experience from a financial institute.
- Thorough documentation abilities and underwriting skills are needed.
- Proven business development skills are also essential.
- Must be able to analyze financial statements and communicate the strengths and weaknesses in a concise and accurate manner.
- Incumbent must exercise good communication and interpersonal skills. Incumbent must have working knowledge of all bank services.
