Position SummaryResponsible for greeting patients, creating, and updating patient demographics and insurance information in the computer system, verification of health insurance benefits, explaining payment policies and billing/collections processes, generating charge ticket information, accepting, posting, and balancing cash drawer, scheduling follow-up appointments along with chart delivery and retrieval.

PrimaryJob Duties
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited medical receptionist program preferred.
- Two years’ previous medical office experience preferred.
- Customer Service training preferred.
- BLS Certification preferred.
- Computer systems and applications including Word, Excel, and email.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic office procedures.
- Ability to type 30 words per minute and 95% accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and with the public in a high‑pressure environment.
- Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to multi‑task and prioritize workload.
