Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• May work until 5:00 PM or later based on case load due to high census
• No call during the week, weekend call only if needed
• Float requirement:
Yes, to outpatient (OPP) based on staff and census
• Perform wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures
• Provide support for other imaging technologists as needed
• Demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed
• Troubleshoot basic maintenance and participate in quality assurance
• Resolve issues related to image processing and image archiving system
• Maintain radiation safety protocol while handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals
• Complete daily logs and periodic tests as required by license
• Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS
• Follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser
• Graduate of accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent required
• 1 year of experience in clinical nuclear medicine setting preferred
• Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) by ARRT or NMTCB required
• Texas state licensure (MRT by TMBB) required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Basic computer experience required
