The Insurance Claims Coordinator supports the Risk Management Department through legal and risk management functions, by managing claims and lawsuits, and insurance applications.

• Process data related to legal and risk management functions, including contracts.
• Manage investigation and response to visitor related complaints, serving as Risk Management liaison.
• Manage claims and lawsuits, prepare case summary notebook, facilitate legal discovery and meetings between legal counsel and hospital staff.
• Manage insurance application process, facilitate certificates of insurance when requires, and act as liaison with insurance brokers, corporate office, and other external shareholders.
• Facilitate communication for interdepartmental needs and other services as required.
• Manage invoices, reimbursements, and other financial needs as assigned. Prepare month end accruals for accounting and maintain claims and loss run.

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Previous experience or clerical in insurance or legal claims processing in hospital or related field.
