Registered Nurse - Perioperative Circulator - Shift

• Collects patient health data relevant to the operative or invasive procedure and analyzes the data to determine nursing diagnoses and patient outcomes
• Develops an individualized plan of care to attain expected outcomes and implements the plan
• Assists with preparation of the patient including positioning, prepping, preoperative medications and proper use of body mechanics
• Demonstrates competency to correctly handle and document all specimens
• Maintains patient rights by protecting privacy, explaining treatment processes, maintaining confidentiality and addressing ethical considerations
• Assists staff in the setup and teardown of supplies and equipment in the operating room

• Required Education and Experience
  :
  Graduate of an accredited nursing program; 1-3 years related experience
• Required License/Certifications
  :
  Current RN license in the state of Texas; BLS certification
