Responsibilities

Would you like to have a built-in workout as part of your job? We need hard‑working, night‑owl Partners like you. Your energy and stamina keep our nighttime crews on track to keep H‑E‑B shelves stocked and organized while everyone else is asleep.

As a Night Stocker, you'll be part of a highly‑functioning team in the Grocery or Drug Store department, working together to meet shared goals and learning about many product lines across the store. Success here can serve as a building block to other roles and a long‑term career at H‑E‑B.

Once eligible, you'll become an Owner in the company, reflecting our commitment to people‑owned success driven by hard work, quality, and customer service.

Stocking

• Stocks shelves and refills displays
• Loads, unloads, and moves heavy, bulky products; may unload trucks
• Conditions shelves and products
• Applies product knowledge, rotating dates, shelf/label info to meet A+ standards
• Maintains department cleanliness and organization, including back room and shelves
• Applies personal discipline to ensure compliance with SOPs and leader direction
• Ensures federal, state, and company food safety and sanitation standards are met
• Works efficiently with a team attitude and meets productivity standards
• Adapts and applies constructive feedback to future tasks
• May coach or train other Stockers

Customer Service

• Operates with a team mindset, working cross‑functionally within the store
• Leads customer service and hospitality with customers and partners
• Assists customers in locating product and answering product questions

What is your background?

• Minimum age 18 (mandatory)
• Experience in stocking and customer service (preferred)
• Experience in a physically demanding job (plus)
• Forklift/power jack training (provided upon hire)
