About the RoleDo you know your way around heavy equipment and love building lasting business relationships? Purple Wave is looking for a driven, people‑focused Territory Sales Manager to grow our presence in the Beaumont–Port Arthur–Orange area and across Southeast Texas. In this boots‑on‑the‑ground role, you’ll work directly with equipment owners in construction, petrochemical/industrial, port and transportation, agriculture, government, and more—helping them turn assets into auction success.

Primary focus: target thriving industries within the following counties:
Angelina, Chambers, Hardin, Jasper, Jefferson, Liberty, Newton, Orange, Polk, Sabine, San Augustine, San Jacinto, Trinity, Tyler, and Walker in Texas;
Beauregard, Calcasieu, and Cameron in Louisiana.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and potential customers to increase Purple Wave’s visibility and brand recognition.
- Educate and inform clients within your assigned territory of the equipment auction services Purple Wave provides and how they might utilize these services to sell or buy used equipment.
- Gather and enter customer information and opportunities in CRM to maintain a high level of communication with all team members.
- Ensure successful execution and support of all phases of the auction process.
- Represent the company positively to heavy equipment owners, buyers, and sellers.
- Raise awareness of upcoming auctions through equipment promotion of auction inventory and packages.
- Manage buyer and seller relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Respond to inbound sales inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Attend and participate in trade shows, conferences, and similar events to promote our services, auctions, and assets.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum three (3) years successful sales experience.
- Ability to travel extensively when required.
- Knowledge of one or more of the following industries: construction, agriculture, fleet, and government.
- Ability to utilize various technologies, tools, and systems to gather and share information electronically.
- Self‑motivated and able to take initiative in making deals happen.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent people skills and ability to maintain high ethical standards.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Candidate may be requested to complete skills assessment testing.
- Applicant must be either a U.S. Citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
- Requires ability to successfully complete a background check.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license in compliance with the laws and regulations of the relevant jurisdiction.
- Full‑time salaried exempt, not eligible for overtime.
- Flexibility in schedule and ability to work outside of standard business hours.
- Expected to travel up to 75% of the time.
- Position is physically demanding and requires regular climbing, lifting, and physical exertion. Requires climbing on, over, and under heavy equipment and vehicles, and lifting and moving equipment and parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Competitive salary paid bi‑weekly. Base salary includes base and estimated first‑year commission.
- Monthly commission based on contracted sales revenue, plus additional commissions if assets sold or bought meet minimum target value.
