Infant​/Toddler Teacher Assistant - Beaver Dam

Overview

Renewal Unlimited, Inc. is seeking an infant teacher assistant to join our team in Beaver Dam. This role focuses on providing developmentally appropriate activities based on each child’s learning needs following the Frog Street Curriculum. The position provides consistent weekday hours with occasional scheduled evening events.

• Work as a team with the Teacher to create a safe, nurturing environment where young children can play and learn
• Provide learning activities for social-emotional growth, cognitive skills, physical development, and the early school readiness skills
• Assist in assessing children for developmental progress and enter data into a software program that aligns with State Day Care Licensing and Federal Performance Standards
• Clean and sanitize toys and other items in the classroom
• Assist with diapering following health and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with children, their families, other staff, and management in a positive, professional manner
• Respond positively to work direction and guidance from others

Required:

• Completion of the Introduction to the Child Care Profession Course or agreement to complete this course within 6 months of hire

Preferred:

• 1+ year of experience in Early Childhood Education or childcare
• Completion of the Skills and Strategies Course for Child Care Teachers
• Completion of the Infant Toddler Foundation Credential
• Experience in a licensed daycare setting
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $16.70 per hour (based on education and/or experience)
