Are you passionate about early childhood education and making a lasting difference in the lives of young children and their families? Renewal Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a teacher to join our team in Beaver Dam! This key role is perfect for someone who would like to help shape bright futures by providing developmentally appropriate activities based on the child’s learning needs following the Frog Street Curriculum.

The position provides consistent weekday hours with occasional scheduled evening events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum focused on each toddler’s developmental level as the base is formed for school readiness skills
  • Promote development in cognitive, physical, social-emotional, and language areas
  • Observe and assess children’s development and maintain accurate documentation in a software program within State Day Care Licensing and Federal Performance Standards
  • Collaborate with families to support the growth and well-being of each child
  • Provide a nurturing, engaging, and safe classroom environment
  • Supervise and guide Classroom Assistants (if assigned)
  • Support children's health, nutrition, and safety in alignment with Head Start Performance Standards
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education; an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, or a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential in Infant and Toddler Care

Preferred:

  • 1+ year of experience in Early Childhood Education or childcare
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Compassionate and nurturing skills in working with young children
