The purpose of this position is to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to evaluate, treat, document, and/or facilitate care for residents with impaired ability to swallow or communicate due to disease processes; participate in interdisciplinary team meetings as required; assist the Director of Nursing Service to develop communication and/or swallowing decline prevention policies and procedures.

• Perform communication and swallowing evaluations and therapies for residents.
• Document assessment results and therapeutic progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Develop and implement prevention policies for communication and swallowing decline.

• Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
• Active Speech‑Language Pathology Licensure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret medical information and communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Strong reasoning and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.
