We’re looking for a knowledgeable and detail‑oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager/Account Executive to join our growing team.
Position Overview:The Commercial Lines position provides exceptional service and support to our business clients. This role is responsible for managing daily service requests, maintaining policy accuracy, assisting with renewals, and ensuring that every client interaction reflects our commitment to excellence. The position offers the flexibility to work in our office or in a hybrid arrangement after training and performance milestones are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, handling policy changes, certificates, billing questions, and general inquiries.
- Process endorsements, binders, renewals, cancellations, and other policy documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare renewal summaries and assist Producers with renewal marketing as needed.
- Communicate with insurance carriers regarding coverage, rating, and policy updates.
- Maintain thorough, organized client files in the agency management system.
- Support producers in developing and retaining business through proactive service and relationship management.
- Ensure compliance with agency procedures and industry regulations.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and support agency growth initiatives.
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial insurance experience in a customer service or account management role (agency experience required).
- Property & Casualty Insurance license
, required. - Strong knowledge of commercial lines products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, AMS
360, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
