Web Second Press Operator

Are you looking for your next career move? We are currently seeking a Web Second Press Operator to join the Mittera team for 2nd or 3rd shift. In this role, you will assist with the setup and operation of a printing press, working closely with the Press Operator and crew to ensure jobs meet customer specifications and deadlines. You will also be responsible for maintaining quality control and minimizing waste and downtime.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain press and auxiliary equipment, guiding a crew to meet production standards while ensuring customer quality requirements.
• Understand setup and maintenance procedures for the entire press.
• Assist supervisors with employee evaluations by providing feedback.
• Promote, enforce, and uphold safety policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous web press operation experience.
• Thorough knowledge of press operations and functions.
• Ability to interact positively with team members and management, demonstrating enthusiasm.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Requires fine motor skills, manual dexterity, and coordination.
