Monday - Friday 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Pay Rate: Material Handler I: $22.00/hour (Material Handler II: $23.00/hour)
Responsibilities: The Material Handler will handle all material handling needs, primarily picking warehouse parts and delivering them to assembly areas to ensure efficient production. Work closely with production lines to ensure full utilization of people, materials, and equipment to meet customer demand. The Material Handler will be required to achieve company standards for Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement (CI), and Productivity.
Minimum Qualifications- Material Handler I – 0-2 years of experience, high attention to detail, ability to work in a team, effective communication, basic PC knowledge, basic reading/writing/math, high school diploma.
- Material Handler II – 1-3 years experience, strong communication, intermediate PC knowledge, ability to troubleshoot, forklift operation, ERP data entry.
- Material Handler III – 2-5 years experience, strong communication, forklift operation, problem solving tools, coaching and training experience, team leadership.
- Previous forklift operation experience.
- ERP program data entry experience.
- Work under general supervision with well-defined tasks following company procedures.
- Participate in metric boards measuring Safety, Quality, CI, and Productivity.
- Complete and retain all required training.
- Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisors.
- Participate in 5S programs and fix abnormal areas immediately.
- Complete daily forklift per procedure.
- Good attendance per policy.
Report to Materials Supervisor and take direction from Materials Leads.
