American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN with 2+ years of combined adult/pediatric ER experience for a night shift assignment requiring WI or Compact RN licensure.

• Combined adult/pediatric Emergency Department setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00
• Weekend rotation and every other holiday required
• Unit will consider 4x12 schedules and assignments up to 26 weeks
• Floating required as needed
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Free onsite parking available

• Active WI RN or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA only required); NIHSS and TNCC preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last 3 years required
• 5+ years of ER experience preferred
• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to start, including adult and pediatric dysrhythmia identification with strict passing criteria
• Skills in IV therapy, phlebotomy, central line care, and starting/maintaining IVs required
• Experience with arterial line management and blood product administration preferred

• Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, 12-lead EKG/ECG acquisition, and patient triage
• Care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure and provide emergency response as needed
• Use of isolation precautions and PPE required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates not accepted
• Previous charge experience preferred but not required
• First-time travelers are not required to have prior travel experience for consideration
