Job Responsibilities- Design, develop, modify, analyze, and troubleshoot various electronics systems, including hardware, power, electromagnetic, and integrated circuits. Compile and evaluate design and test data, and develop design approaches.
- Lead a team of engineers in technical activities, ensuring completion on time and within budget.
- Support testing of products, systems, or subsystems, and document findings.
- Utilize computer-aided engineering and design software to support assignments.
- Review customer specifications and develop designs that support them, considering cost as a key variable.
- Provide input on budgets, costs, and schedules for design projects.
- Evaluate and specify supplier components and subsystems.
- Drive design for cost efficiency and manufacturability.
- Develop prototypes to mitigate development risks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Assist in proposal preparation and provide technical support to engineers and support staff.
- Lead and mentor less-experienced engineers.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field with at least 5 years of experience.
- Proficiency in relevant technologies and application domains.
- Ability to independently lead a technical team.
U.S. Citizenship and active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain one are required.
