Position Overview

This position will sit in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community, The Ashford of Beavercreek, located in Beavercreek, OH.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as an ambassador for the Human Resources department while delivering an excellent associate experience.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience for all walk‑in applicants.
  • Work with new hires to schedule and ensure all pre‑employment requirements are completed prior to orientation (fingerprint background check, drug screen, WOTC, etc.).
  • Ensure all associate files are in compliance for state and regulatory agency compliance.
  • Maintain BCI log.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of all new hire paperwork and processes, coordinating with the Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development teams.
  • Communicate details about orientation to new hires.
  • Conduct orientation, including arranging transportation, preparing orientation packets, and maintaining onboarding computers and room set‑up.
  • In partnership with the L&D team, run and review audit reports for I‑9 and WOTC to keep the database integrity, correcting data when necessary.
  • Follow up with associates to ensure trainings are completed timely and assist them with accessing computers and logging into trainings.
  • Track TB testing and ensure associates have TB results read within guidelines.
  • Answer general HR‑related questions for associates and elevate complex requests to HRBP.
  • Assist management team with associate engagement activities.
  • Track and order new hire and annual associate uniforms.
  • Run ad hoc reports as needed by the business and HR team.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, organizational development, educational technology, or related degree preferred.
  • 2 or more years of previous experience in human resources, or a similar role is preferred; experience working in a senior living setting strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks in a deadline‑driven environment.
  • Comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization and strong communication to the workforce both verbally and in writing.
  • Exceptional customer‑service experience to associates, leaders, and residents.
Licenses / Certifications
  • SHRM‑CP or PHR a plus.
