DevSecOps Engineer

ARS is seeking a full-time Dev Sec Ops  Engineer (DSOE)
The DSOE’s primary function will be to support the development and operations of the Program Cloud Development Environment. This Engineer will focus on the implementation of security controls and procedures in the environment as well as the development of security driven Dev Sec Ops  processes.

• Assist developers in building, scanning and testing the Skyborg System
• Design and document best practices for Dev Sec Ops  actions
• Utilize USAF Platform One Dev Sec Ops  guidelines and tools when applicable
• Develop Dev Sec Ops  tools and techniques as necessary to construct an automated and secure Dev Sec Ops  pipeline
• Ensures cybersecurity functions, performance, and characteristics are incorporated into the weapon system and validated IAW DOD and USAF policy
• Automate deployment and maintenance of solutions across multiple cloud instances using Terraform or other selected Infrastructure as Code tooling
• Develop Dev Sec Ops  monitoring and reporting capabilities to allow developers, testers and stakeholders to observe the availability and performance of the system
• Implement security controls and scans as necessary to conform to RMF security requirements
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be a US citizen
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience working in a Security Engineering role
• 2+ years of experience working in a Security role handling cloud infrastructure
• 2+ years of experience with Docker and container-based technologies
• 2+ years of experience with Cloud technologies
• Familiarity with RMF/DIACAP accreditation process
• Strong foundation in containers, algorithms, and software application design
• Strong foundation in Linux and virtual machines
• Secret security clearance
