Position Overview
The Strategy Analyst supports the development, execution, and monitoring of enterprise strategy by providing data‑driven analysis, in‑depth research, marketing intelligence, and insights that guide executive decision‑making. This role plays a critical part in the strategic planning process, translating complex transformation into actionable recommendations, supporting strategic initiatives, and ensuring alignment between organizational priorities and measurable outcomes. The Strategy Analyst will work closely with business leaders and product leadership to evaluate opportunities, track progress, and strengthen accountability for results.
- Strategic Planning Support – 25%:
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, build financial and operational scenarios, and synthesize insights into clear recommendations, supporting quarterly, annual, and multi‑year planning cycles. - Research and Market Intelligence – 20%:
Conduct in‑depth research on industry trends, competitor strategies, regulatory developments and member/partner needs, transforming findings into actionable intelligence. - Performance Tracking and Reporting – 15%:
Design, maintain, and enhance enterprise dashboards, scorecards and KPIs to monitor progress against strategic goals, building robust data models in Excel. - Business Case Development – 15%:
Build financial and operational models to evaluate new initiatives, products, or partnerships, providing clear analysis of expected ROI and alignment with priorities. - Executive and Board Materials – 15%:
Prepare concise, high‑quality presentations, reports and briefing documents that translate complex data into clear narratives for executive leadership and the board. - Cross‑Functional Collaboration – 10%:
Partner with Finance, Operations, PMO, CMO, Product, and Data & Analytics teams to embed strategy into day‑to‑day execution, ensuring policies and controls are followed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. Master’s Degree or MBA preferred.
- 3‑5 years of experience in strategy, management consulting, finance, analytics, or related roles with demonstrated ability to conduct research, develop business cases, and support executive decision‑making.
- Experience supporting strategic planning processes and developing board‑ready materials in a corporate, financial services, or consulting environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience applying data analysis to solve business problems in fast‑moving environments.
- Proficiency in strategic planning frameworks (SWOT, PESTLE, Porter’s Five Forces, balanced scorecards, OKRs).
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; ability to build ROI models, sensitivity analyses, and scenario forecasts.
- Ability to conduct primary and secondary research, synthesize market trends, competitor moves, and regulatory developments into actionable insights.
- Strong skills in developing executive‑ready presentations and board materials.
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving: evaluate ambiguous problems, identify root causes, propose practical solutions.
- Technology awareness: working knowledge of data infrastructure, analytics platforms, and emerging technologies (AI, automation, digital transformation tools).
Data Analysis & Visualization
:
Skilled in extracting, analyzing, and presenting data using BI and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar). Comfortable with SQL for querying and joining datasets; preferred.
