Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Database Administrator (DBA) for their Beavercreek Ohio facility. This DBA will be an active part of a team of Database Administrators who will share in the administration of Neo4j, Oracle, Maria

DB/MySQL, Mongo

DB, etc. This environment includes ever growing opportunities with modernization such as Cloud technologies and Dev Ops CI/CD pipelines. This candidate will be planned to support a production environment on site at National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base once properly cleared to support mission critical needs. NASIC is responsible for creating all-source intelligence defining the present and future air, air defense, cyber, space and ballistic missile threats to enable military operations, force modernization, and policy making.

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years’ experience OR a master’s degree with 3 years' experience OR a high school diploma/equivalent with 9 years’ experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Database Administration
• Must obtain an IAT Level II certification such as Security+CE or Security
  
  X (formerly CASP+) within 90 days of hiring
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance
• Candidate must demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Active Department of Defense Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance
• Experience with Dev Ops architecture such as Kubernetes, Nexus, Harbor, Docker, Git Lab, etc.
• Experience with Oracle, Maria
  
  DB/MySQL, or Mongo
  
  DB, or graph Database administration
• Experience with Apache, NGINX, or JBoss Server administration
• Experience with scripting using tools such as Bash, Python, Perl, Power Shell, etc.
• Active CompTIA or Security
  
  X or Security+ certification

Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
