Job SummaryUnder limited supervision, supports the Procurement team with contracts of specific categories.
Essential Position Functions- Support commercialization and speed to market processes.
- Creates and manages item set up forms and systems for raw materials and packaging.
- Review and approves required documentation in FSQAR (Food Safety, Quality & Regulatory) system (including Certificates of Insurance, Non-Disclosure Agreements, etc)
- Arranges and tracks raw material and packaging samples to R&D and plants.
- Manages active item status in M3 MRP system.
- Places purchase orders with vendors for non-stock items (print plates, samples).
- Maintains quote and price files for raw materials and packaging.
- Composes general correspondence and written material to vendors.
- Generates and distributes monthly procurement reports.
- Generates/maintains spreadsheets at Manager’s request.
- Enters contracts into software system.
- Communicates with plants and internal cross functional teams.
- Supports team engagement activities including but not limited to: team recognition, holiday coordination and corporate event support.
- Performs special projects and other related duties, as assigned
- 2-4 years general office or accounting experience is required.
- High School Degree or equivalent required. Some College is preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong PC skills are required.
- Strong analytical and excel skills are required.
- Proficient in word processing and spreadsheets.
- Repetitive hand, wrist and finger activities.
- Business demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling
