WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The Strategic Workforce Planning team partners across functions to advance Nike’s business goals. The team leads labor governance and financial guardrail development, delivers long-term strategic workforce planning, executes in-year operational workforce planning, and drives change management. Their focus is enabling business and talent strategies through scalable frameworks powered by leadership, analytics, and communication.

This role sits within the Talent & Organizational Development team in Human Resources. Key stakeholders include Senior HR Business Partners, COE leads, Finance, and business leaders across the enterprise.

The individual reports to the Director, Strategic Workforce Planning and partners with Nike leaders to deliver strategic, high‑impact, data‑informed workforce strategy and planning insights.

This role embeds within the business, partnering closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Finance to deliver strategic workforce plans that shape Nike’s future footprint. It also leads workforce planning products and process optimization. Success requires a mix of people strategy, analytics, consulting, and product/process management skills. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver, an innovative thinker, and deeply skilled in workforce analytics.

WHAT

YOU’LL WORK ON

If this sounds like you, you’ll execute and maintain processes that support Nike’s Workforce Planning & Labor Governance Strategy. You’ll work cross‑functionally, where clear communication is key.

  • Design and maintain workforce planning processes aligned to annual, quarterly, and monthly planning cycles.
  • Serve as the “on‑the‑ground” workforce planning partner, leveraging new processes, technologies, and guides to improve planning through data analysis, identifying workforce gaps, and developing mitigation plans.
  • Provide modeling and forecasting analyses across workforce dimensions, ensuring efficient data collection and interpreting metrics to enable effective planning.
  • Craft executive communications for HR and business leaders on workforce decisions and co‑facilitate meetings to drive alignment.
  • Act as the team expert on workforce planning products, optimizing user experience and product value by gathering stakeholder feedback and partnering with technology teams for enhancements.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training.
  • 8+ years of demonstrated experience in HR, corporate strategy, transformation, finance, consulting, analytics, or related fields.
  • Experience managing people or financial data.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to create compelling visuals using data storytelling.
  • Proven experience in workforce planning, HR strategy, or business operations—preferably in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with workforce data, modeling, and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and change leadership skills.
  • Experience managing multiple products, portfolios, or initiatives, or operating in a consulting‑style role balancing diverse stakeholder needs and delivering tailored solutions.
