3D Apparel Concept & Prototyping Specialist
Our client is seeking a hands‑on, detail‑oriented innovator who thrives at the intersection of apparel creation and emerging technology. This individual brings a maker’s mindset, strong material intuition, and the ability to translate creative ideas into tangible prototypes through iterative problem‑solving. Success in this role comes from curiosity, precision, and collaborative agility in a fast‑evolving design environment.

This role is onsite in Beaverton, Oregon.

• Operate, calibrate, and maintain 3D printing equipment to produce apparel components and experimental garment concepts.
• Translate conceptual and 2D design inputs into functional 3D models and physical prototypes.
• Support early‑stage concept development through rapid prototyping, testing, and iteration.
• Collaborate closely with design and engineering partners as a technical and creative thought partner.
• Ensure high standards of quality, organization, and documentation throughout the prototyping process.

• Proven experience creating apparel concepts with hands‑on exposure to additive manufacturing or 3D printing methods.
• Working knowledge of apparel construction, material behavior, and basic pattern principles.
• Ability to assemble and manipulate basic garments or components using industrial sewing equipment.
• Experience with relevant design and prototyping tools (e.g., 3D apparel software and Adobe design tools).
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail, time management, and follow‑through.
