• Contribute to the development of innovative and visually appealing materials for various projects
• Blend artistic skills with technical knowledge to design materials that enhance overall aesthetic and functionality
• Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and specifications
• Research and select materials based on properties, durability, and aesthetic qualities
• Utilize design software and tools to create and refine material concepts
• Develop prototypes and samples to test visual and tactile aspects of materials

• Bachelors Degree required
• 2-4 years directly relevant work experience
• Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly materials
• Ability to conduct tests to assess performance, durability and safety
• Attention to detail around material specifications and quality control
• Experience working with material suppliers and manufacturers
• Understanding of industry design trends and emerging materials
