Job Description:

As our Senior Innovation Technical Developer
, you will utilize your advanced expertise in product fit, development, research, and manufacturing to lead large and complex apparel innovation projects.

The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in ideation and research with tangible results, a solid understanding of product construction concepts, innovative thinking, excellent problem-solving skills, and an ability to handle ambiguity.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand creative visions and translate design concepts into 3D products. You will also communicate design ideas to generate 2D patterns as needed, explore new performance-based product methods, and produce proof-of-concept prototypes. Additionally, you will lead innovation projects, draft reports, present results, and assist in transitioning technologies to production.

Responsibilities
  • Create concept ideas from 2D to 3D
  • Patterning and fitting expertise
  • Grading expertise
  • 3D CLO expertise
  • Communicate and collaborate with factories and innovation centers, end-to-end concept development
  • Explore new manufacturing methods
  • Lead prototype iteration processes
  • Coordinate concept calendars and workback plans
  • Facilitate fit sessions and prototype reviews as an athlete fit expert
  • Oversee product security
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, Pattern Making, Textile Science, or related field
  • Minimum 6 years of apparel development experience
  • Advanced knowledge of the apparel development process from concept to production
  • Strong collaboration skills within diverse teams
  • Leadership ability in cross-functional projects
  • Vendor collaboration skills for execution and manufacturability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, and CAD pattern design software (Optitex, CLO, Browzwear)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to sign NXT Non-Disclosure Agreement
