Product Lifecycle Engineer – Sustaining Support (Tektronix)

Responsibilities- Collaborate with design, R&D, and manufacturing teams to support the release of new products into production.
- Assist in developing and validating manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies and systems.
- Support the design and implementation of test fixtures and procedures for new products.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability and testability.
- Create and maintain documentation such as work instructions, test procedures, and process flows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing production lines related to electronics performance, yield, and reliability.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for product and process issues.
- Support engineering changes, component substitutions, and obsolescence management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
- Collaborate with suppliers and cross‑functional teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–7 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, test engineering, or product support.
- Solid understanding of analog and digital electronics, signal integrity, and low‑noise/high‑bandwidth systems.
- Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and multimeters.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Experience in the semiconductor, instrumentation, or precision electronics industry.
- Familiarity with DFM/DFT principles and design review processes.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB) for test automation.
- Experience with ERP/PLM systems (e.g., SAP, Agile).
- Experience with circuit simulation or SPICE software.
- Presentation and communication skills for medium‑to‑large audiences.
This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of the total compensation package.
Pay RangeThe salary range for this position (in local currency) is 83,400..
