Corporate Finance Senior Manager

Overview

The Corporate Finance Senior Manager will be part of the Financial Planning & Analysis team, which reports to Legal Zoom’s Chief Financial Officer. This position will support the Corporate Finance function’s forecasting responsibilities, including month-end accruals, variance analysis, headcount and expense management, and Oracle EPBCS maintenance and improvement. This Corporate Finance Senior Manager will report to the Sr. Director of Corporate Finance.

Part of the position’s work requirement is to ensure continuity with work occurring in the United States of America. As such, all employees are required to work during hours that overlap with the U.S. work schedule for a minimum of four hours per day.

This hybrid position will be based in our Bangalore office.

• Providing cost center leaders with monthly BvA (Budget versus Actual) packages including detailed business metric and financial performance summaries including key insights to explain material variances
• Maintaining up-to-date vendor expense and headcount data in Oracle, working with other FP&A team members, accounting, and human resources to regularly align data and flag any discrepancies or trends
• Constant focus on driving efficiencies, improving excel and Oracle modeling to better serve the team and support the business
• Supporting the month-end accounting close process, providing accruals for services rendered during the period that we have not received invoices from vendors for
• Partnering with our internal and external Oracle resources to support Oracle EPBCS (Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service) maintenance and forecast model improvements

• A Bachelor degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering
• 7+ years of work experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or related fields
• Advanced Microsoft office skills, specifically Excel and Power Point
• Strong experience with Oracle Hyperion’s enterprise planning software, ideally EPBCS
• Understanding of subscription as a service (SaaS) business performance metrics
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Unparalleled ability to self-manage your daily priorities, hand multiple projects at once, and work across geographies
• Internet service that has adequate bandwidth to support all work processes as a remote employee
